Westholme School – Mental Resilience & Wellbeing Engagement
Kofi Josephs delivered a powerful full-day engagement at Westholme School, reaching over 1000 students, teachers, and parents with a focus on mental resilience, self-belief, and wellbeing.
The day began with an inspiring keynote assembly, where Kofi shared his lived experiences from elite sport and the mindset needed to navigate pressure, setbacks, and personal growth. He then worked closely with the school’s elite sports scholars, providing insight into the realities of high-performance environments and offering practical strategies to strengthen mental resilience and identity beyond the game.
Kofi also led sessions with teachers and parents, reinforcing a whole-school approach to mental wellbeing and the importance of open, honest conversations between young people and their support networks. His time with the younger students at the Prep Academy was equally impactful, inspiring self-belief and planting the foundations of a resilient mindset from an early age.
Through interactive discussions and authentic insights, Kofi equipped the Westholme community with tools to build a culture where mental resilience is valued just as highly as academic and athletic success. The impact was clear, leaving students, staff, and parents with a renewed understanding of mental wellbeing and the power of belief in their own potential.
